In Spain, companies in the industry are represented by Hispalyt (Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Fired Clay Bricks and Tiles) and regional associations, such as the Gremi de rajolers of the Valencian Comunitat, which offer the following free services:

Sustainability

In response to the demand from administrations and consumers to obtain environmental information on construction products, manufacturers have developed the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for different ceramic materials throughout their life cycle (cradle to grave), demonstrating that the construction of buildings with ceramic materials is totally respectful with the environment.

BIM

To adapt to new technologies, the industry has developed a Library of BiM objects made up of 173 objects with ceramic solutions and 36 objects made of ceramic materials, a BiM building in which the application of different constructive solutions of the Library of BIM objects and a PiM Tool for the prescription in the BIM environment with Revit ceramic construction systems based on their typology, their technical features and the requirements of the CTE.
